 Lot Surveys
Lot surveys are a basic type of land survey that consists of recovering and marking the property corners for a particular lot.  The corners are checked to ensure that they are in the correct location.  If any of the corners are missing the surveyor will re-set them in the correct location.

 Property Line Locations
This type of survey is very common for property owners interested in installing a fence.  The property corners will be marked and/or set and wooden stakes will be placed on the property line between the corners.
